Ice Spice has been given an unlikely gift after her sexually-charged Betty Boop performance left the internet in an uproar.
The New York rap starlet took to her Instagram Stories this week to share a picture of a KJV (King James Version) Bible that a fan had apparently given her following the show, presumably because they feel she needs to repent for her alleged sins.

“Why a fan gave me a bible after the show [crying laughing face emoji],” Ice Spice captioned the photo.

The drama started when Ice Spice wore a skimpy Betty Boop costume during her set at the Power 105 Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia over the weekend.
While dressed in the outfit (which she called “Wetty Boop” on social media), her short red dress left little to the imagination as she put her own spin on the cartoon character.

Needless to say, the crowd of thousands went wild each time Ice Spice shook and twerked, though there were more than a few occasions where she attempted to pull down her dress when it rode up a little too high for her liking.
The “Munch (Feelin’ U)” rapper’s raunchy outfit was criticized by Nikki D — the first woman rapper ever to be signed to Def Jam Records in 1989 — who sounded off on today’s female rap movement, labelling it the “prostitution era.”

“Oh come TF on!!! You mean to tell me, this is true talent.. the Female genre of hip hop today is the ‘prostitution era’, fight me!! [two boxing glove emojis],” Nikki captioned a clip of Spice’s performance. “Notice the ONLY 2x’s the crowd reacts.. during the familiar ‘munch line’ and when she turns around to show her ass!!”
The “Lettin’ Off Steam” rapper then questioned Ice Spice’s position as one of the top female stars of the moment, and pleaded with artists to stop performing over pre-recorded vocals at live shows.

“She’s one of the top female rappers out at the “moment”.. where’s her show production, rehearsal, and for god sake PLEASE STOP singing over those studio vocals it’s not a live show at that point,” Nikki D wrote.
She capped off her post by asking Ice Spice’s manager to reach out to her so she can offer the “Princess Diana” rapper some tips, claiming that her “5 minutes” is almost up.
